As I near my trip to China to start teaching on a eight month contract I finalize my packing and come to a conclusion. I'm ever under packing, or I'm getting to good at packing for trips.
My allowance for my flight is.
One Carry on bag. (My Assault Pack)
One Personal Bag. (My Briefcase)
And two check bags. (Of which I am only taking my duffle bag)
And really, they seam rather empty.
And that's fine with me. The problem most people have is that they over pack.
If you over pack you normally find one of two things.
#1: You don't use most of what you pack.
#2: You could have purchase most of the stuff cheaper when you got there.
Most of my clothing is for work in the first month.
Most of my personal bag stuff is hygiene equipment and medication.
Most of my briefcase is take up by my laptop and legal documents.
